ASSOCIATION FOR RESEARCH AND EDUCATION IN CLINICAL SKILLS
The Association for Research and Education in Clinical Skills (ARECS) aims to educate students of the Schools of Health Sciences and train health professionals on skills necessary for clinical practice.
Moreover, The ARECS aims at research in the fields of Primary Health Care and Education of health professionals in relation to modern issues that concern the scientific community and promote health care.
CLINICAL SKILLS AND SIMULATION CENTRE
The Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre of the Department of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is a modern training laboratory for basic and advanced clinical skills in Thessaloniki.
At the Centre, students and health professionals of health science faculties have the opportunity to be trained in a protected environment with the help of both simple and high tech simulators in a full range of clinical skills by a multidisciplinary team of trainers.
PRIMARY HEALTH CARE RESEARCH NETWORK OF THE ARISTOTLE UNIVERSITY OF THESSALONIKI
The Primary Health Care Research Network of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH.PHC.RN.) is an interdisciplinary network of health professionals who work or have special research interests in Primary Health Care and General Practice.
AUTH.PHC.RN. is based at the Laboratory of Primary Health Care, General Medicine and Health Services Research of the Department of Medicine of AUTH and aims to develop research, education and quality of care in Primary Health Care and General Medicine in primary health care facilities in Greece.
PROJECTS
We present the current research protocols of the Primary Health Care Research Network of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH.PHC.RN.) These are studies that have emerged from the meetings of the AUTH.PHC.RN., have been approved by the Bioethics Committee and are currently being implemented.
ACTIONS
We present to you the actions of the Association of Research and Education in Clinical Skills. These are actions aimed at health professionals and citizens with an emphasis on training in communication skills as well as practical clinical skills.
