The Primary Health Care Research Network of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (PHC.RN.AUTH) was founded in October 2017 in Thessaloniki.

The aim of the PHC.RN.AUTH. is to develop research, education and quality of care in Primary Health Care and General Medicine in primary health care facilities in Greece that are collaborating with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Health professionals of all specialties (physicians, dentists, nurses, health visitors, etc.) can participate in the Network.

 

 

Objectives 

The objectives of the network are achieved through:

  • the design and implementation of epidemiological and health services studies in the areas of responsibility of the participants,
  • the identification and analysis of the health problems of the population under the responsibility of the participants,
  • the systematic upgrading of the health services offered in terms of holistic health care, prevention, health education, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation,
  • the communication and publication of the results of the research projects in the biomedical scientific press and in the community,
  • the continuing education of participants in epidemiology and research methodology.

The Association for Research and Education in Clinical Skills aims to provide training in skills necessary for clinical practice and research in Primary Health Care in issues that concern the scientific community for advance health care.
